Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Aluminum sheet – net subsidy rate of 7.62 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CVD order on common alloy aluminum sheet from India for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024

Brightening agents – dumping margin of 1.96 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on stilbenic optical brightening agents from Taiwan for the period May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025

Crepe paper – sunset review determination that revocation of AD order on crepe paper from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time; this order will therefore be continued for another five years

Monomers – final affirmative AD injury determination on multifunctional acrylate and methacrylate monomers and oligomers from South Korea; an AD order will therefore be issued on this product

Nails – dumping margin of zero in final results of administrative review of AD order on steel nails from Oman for the period July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024
