Microperforated Packaging. The International Trade Commission has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1096 of microperforated packaging containing fresh produce with respect to one respondent at the request of complainant Windham Packaging LLC.
Digital Cameras. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1059 of digital cameras, software, and components thereof with respect to certain patent claims based on the partial withdrawal of the complaint by Carl Zeiss AG and ASML Netherlands B.V.
Infusion Systems. The ITC has instituted investigation 337-TA-1110 to determine whether imports of strontium-rubidium radioisotope infusion systems and components thereof, including generators, are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The products at issue are systems used to generate and infuse radiopharmaceuticals for intravenous administration in applications such as diagnostic medical imaging.
Complainant Bracco Diagnostics Inc. requests that after this investigation the ITC issue a limited exclusion order, which would direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to prohibit the entry of infringing products into the U.S., and cease and desist orders, which would require the named respondents to cease actions that violate Section 337, including selling infringing imported articles out of U.S. inventory. The respondents in this investigation are located in Canada, Singapore, and India.
