Aquarium Fittings. The International Trade Commission has instituted investigation 337-TA-947 to determine whether imports of aquarium fittings and parts thereof are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The products at issue are accessories for fish tanks.
Complainant HYDOR USA Inc. requests that after this investigation the ITC issue a general or limited exclusion order, which would direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to prohibit the entry of infringing products into the U.S., and a cease and desist order, which would require the named respondent to cease actions that violate Section 337, including selling infringing imported articles out of U.S. inventory. The respondent in this investigation is located in China.
Audio Processing Equipment. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-949 of audio processing hardware and software and products containing same with respect to one respondent on the basis of a settlement agreement and a patent technology and license agreement between it and complainant Andrea Electronics Corp.
Document Cameras. In patent infringement investigation 337-TA-967 of document cameras and software for use therewith, the ITC has determined not to review an initial determination finding one respondent to be in default.
