The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received an application from the Port of South Louisiana, grantee of FTZ 124, requesting an expansion of subzone 124D on behalf of LOOP LLC. No additional authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. Comments on this request are due no later than Sept. 30.
The FTZ Board has received an application from the Northern Mississippi FTZ Inc., grantee of FTZ 262, requesting subzone status for the ASICS America Corporation facility in Byhalia, Miss. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. Comments on this request are due no later than Sept. 30.
The FTZ Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the Omron Automotive Electronics Inc. facility within FTZ 22 in St. Charles, Ill., which is used for the production of automotive electronic components.
The FTZ has approved an expansion of production authority at the Deere & Company facilities within subzone 133D in Davenport, Iowa. Deere already has authority to produce motor graders, four-wheel-drive loaders, log skidders and articulated dump trucks within subzone 133D and the FTZ Board is now adding construction and forestry equipment and foreign-status materials and components to the scope of authority.
