The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments through Nov. 16 on the following requests.

Flavor Compounds. Givaudan Flavors Corporation has submitted a notification of proposed production activity for its facility within subzone 44H in East Hanover, N.J., which is used for the production of flavor compounds. Givaudan seeks to add additional finished products using the components previously authorized for the facility.

Aircraft. The City of Mobile, Ala., grantee of FTZ 82, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at the Airbus Americas Inc. facility in Mobile. Airbus already has authority to produce commercial passenger jet aircraft within site 1 of FTZ 82 and the current request would add additional foreign status materials/components to the scope of authority. The FTZ Board notes that the applicant has elected to admit the following components into the zone site in privileged foreign status: textile pouches (HTSUS 4202.92), twill tape (HTSUS 5208.39), synthetic sewing yarn (HTSUS 5401.10), water absorbent felt (HTSUS 5602.10), synthetic braided cordage (HTSUS 5607.50), synthetic emergency escape rope and retaining cords (HTSUS 5609.00), synthetic fireproof gloves (HTSUS 6116.93), and finished aircraft curtain and class divider assemblies (HTSUS 6303.92).
