Background

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments no later than Aug. 27 on the following.

- Brose New Boston Inc. has submitted a notification of proposed production activity for its facility within subzone 70X in New Boston, Mich., which will be used for the production of passenger vehicle and sport utility vehicle subassemblies.

- CNH Industrial America LLC has submitted a notification of proposed production activity for its facility within subzone 41I in Sturtevant, Wis. CNH Industrial already has authority to produce tractors, tractor/combine components, and 4-wheel drive axle subassemblies within subzone 41I and the current request would add finished products and foreign-status materials and components to the scope of authority.
