The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the City of Albuquerque, N.M., grantee of FTZ 110, a request for authority to reorganize this zone under the alternative site framework. The grantee’s proposed service area would include all of Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Torrance, Socorro and Valencia counties in New Mexico, within and adjacent to the Albuquerque U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. The application would have no impact on FTZ 110’s previously authorized subzones. Comments on this application are due no later than July 18.
The FTZ Board has received from the March Joint Powers Authority, grantee of FTZ 244, a request for authority to reorganize this zone to expand its service area under the ASF. FTZ 244 currently has a service area that includes western Riverside County, Calif., and the applicant is requesting authority to include the City of Lake Elsinore, adjacent to the Los Angeles/Long Beach U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this request are due no later than July 18.
The FTZ Board has received from Miami-Dade County, grantee of FTZ 281, a notification of proposed production activity at the Alpha Marketing Network Inc. d/b/a AMN Distributors facility in Miami, Fla., which is used for the kitting of Irish cream wine gift sets. Comments are due no later than June 27.
The FTZ Board has received from the Capital District Regional Planning Commission, grantee of FTZ 121, a notification of proposed production activity at the Townsend Leather Company Inc. facility in Johnstown, N.Y., which is used to produce finished upholstery grade leather, cut parts and product samples used in aviation/motor vehicle/yacht interiors, interior design and fashion accessories. Comments are due no later than June 27.
