The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments through July 14 on the following.
Oil Industry Equipment. The City of Conroe, grantee of FTZ 265, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at the Bauer Manufacturing LLC dba NEORig facility in Conroe, Texas. Bauer already has authority to produce pile drivers and leads, boring machinery, foundation construction equipment, foundation casings and related parts and subassemblies, tools and accessories for pile drivers, and stationary oil/gas drilling rigs and related subassemblies within site 1 of FTZ 265 and is now seeking to add a foreign-status material/component to the scope of authority.
Steel. The Port of Corpus Christi Authority, grantee of FTZ 122, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at the voestalpine Texas LLC facility in Portland, Texas. Voestalpine already has authority to produce hot briquetted iron and related byproducts using certain foreign-status materials within subzone 122T and is now seeking to add a finished product and foreign-status materials to the scope of authority.
New Subzone. The Richland-Lexington Airport District, grantee of FTZ 127, is requesting subzone status at the BGM America Inc. facility in in Marion, S.C. No authorization for production activity at this facility has been requested at this time.
