The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received an application from the Triangle J Council of Governments, grantee of FTZ 93, requesting authority to reorganize this zone to expand its service area under the alternative site framework. The zone currently has a service area that includes the counties of Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Orange, Person, Sampson, Vance, Wake and Warren, N.C., and the applicant is now requesting authority to expand the service area to include Wilson County, adjacent to the Raleigh-Durham U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this request are due no later than July 25.
