The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the City of San Jose, Calif., grantee of FTZ 18, a request to expand subzone 18G at the Tesla Motors Inc. facilities in Palo Alto and Fremont, Calif. Subzone 18G currently consists of two sites and the applicant is now requesting authority to include an additional 24.5 acres adjacent to site 2. No additional production authority is being requested at this time. Comments on this request are due no later than Aug. 2.
