Expansions Approved. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized the expansion of:
- FTZ 106 to include an additional magnet site at the Iron Horse Industrial Park in Shawnee, Okla., adjacent to the Oklahoma City U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry;
- FTZ 174 to include additional magnet sites adjacent to the Tucson, Ariz., CBP port of entry;
- subzone 116B to include as site 5 a pipeline that extends from site 4 in Nederland to site 1 in Port Arthur, Texas; and
- the service area of FTZ 286 to include Lamoille County, Vt., adjacent to the Derby Line CBP port of entry.
Expansion Not Approved. The FTZ Board has not accepted a notification of production under zone procedures of spun cotton and cotton/polyester yarns for export at the Gildan Yarns LLC facility within FTZ 57 in Salisbury, N.C. The Board states that further review is warranted and that if the applicant wishes to seek authorization for this activity it will need to submit an application.
Maryland Zone Reorganized. The FTZ Board has approved the reorganization of FTZ 63 with a service area that includes Prince George’s County, Md., adjacent to the Washington-Dulles CBP port of entry.
Notification Received. The FTZ Board is accepting through May 25 comments on a notification from the Port of Long Beach, grantee of FTZ 50, of proposed production activity at the Mercedes Benz USA LLC facility in Long Beach, Calif., which is used for accessorizing passenger motor vehicles.
