Proposed Activity. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from Canon Virginia Inc., operator of subzone 20D, a notification of proposed production activity for its facility in Newport News, Va. Canon already has authority to produce a range of printers, copiers and their parts and supplies, including toner, toner cartridges, toner bottles and cartridge parts, at this facility. The current request would add carbon black and aluminum flanges to the scope of authority. Comments on this notification are due no later than Feb. 15.

Subzone Expansion. The FTZ Board has received from the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, grantee of FTZ 78, a request to expand site 1 of subzone 78A at the Nissan North America Inc. facility in New Smyrna, Tenn. by 77.03 acres. No authorization for additional production activity has been requested at this time. Interested parties may submit comments by Feb. 16.
