Computers. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved expanded production activity under zone procedures at the Flextronics America LLC facility within subzone 183C in Austin, Texas. Flextronics already had authority to produce automatic data processing machines within this subzone and the FTZ Board is now adding finished products and foreign status materials and components to the scope of authority.

Oceangoing Vessels. The FTZ Board has received from the Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission, grantee of FTZ 279, a notification of proposed production activity at the Thoma-Sea Marine Constructors LLC facilities in Houma, La., which are used for the construction and repair of oceangoing vessels. Comments on this request are due no later than March 23. A separate request for subzone designation at these facilities is being considered.
