The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved an application submitted by the Economic Development Corporation of Decatur & Macon County, grantee of FTZ 245, requesting subzone status subject to the existing activation limit of FTZ 245 for the Thyssenkrupp Presta Danville LLC facility in Danville, Ill., which is used for the production of camshafts for the automotive industry.

The FTZ Board has also approved a separate application submitted by the Charlotte Regional Partnership Inc., grantee of FTZ 57, requesting the expansion of subzone 57C at the DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation facility in Concord, N.C. This expansion is subject to FTZ 57’s 2,000-acre activation limit.

Finally, the FTZ Board has approved a proposed production activity at Bell Sports Inc.’s facility in Rantoul, Ill., within subzone 114F. Bell Sports already has authority to produce certain sports equipment within this subzone and the current request adds finished products and foreign status materials/components to the scope of authority.
