Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. PC strand – issuance of AD duty order on pre-stressed concrete steel wire strand from Argentina, Colombia, Egypt, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates and CV duty order on PC strand from Turkey

Pipe and tube – preliminary affirmative dumping determination on seamless refined copper pipe and tube from Vietnam, with new AD cash deposit requirement at rate of 8.05 percent, and preliminary negative critical circumstances determination

Silicon metal – preliminary affirmative dumping determination on silicon metal from Malaysia, with new AD cash deposit requirement at rate of 7.21 percent

Sunset reviews – ITA and ITC initiation of sunset reviews of the following AD and/or CV duty orders, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders

- floor-standing, metal-top ironing tables and parts thereof from China (AD)

- potassium permanganate from China (AD)

- seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from China (AD/CV)

- uncoated paper from Australia (AD), Brazil (AD), China (AD/CV), Indonesia (AD/CV), and Portugal (AD)

Wire mesh – preliminary affirmative dumping determination on standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico, with new AD cash deposit requirement at rates of 22.65 and 151.66 percent
