The Bureau of Industry and Security has issued orders suspending the export privileges of individuals convicted of the following crimes. As a result, neither these individuals nor anyone acting on their behalf may directly or indirectly participate in any way in any transaction involving any commodity, software, or technology exported or to be exported from the U.S. that is subject to the Export Administration Regulations. BIS is also revoking all export licenses in which these individuals had an interest at the time of their convictions.

- ten-year suspension for exporting an aircraft engine with the intention of directly or indirectly supplying it to Iran via transshipment through Turkey without having first obtained the required U.S. government authorization (individual previously sentenced to nine months in prison and a $100 special assessment)
- ten-year suspension for knowingly and willfully exporting firearms designated as defense articles on the U.S. Munitions List to Turkey and Iraq without the required Department of State licenses (individual previously sentenced to three years of probation, a $20,000 fine, and a $300 assessment)
