Steven Brotherton, who leads Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg’s Export Controls and Sanctions practice, was recently reappointed to a four-year term with the Bureau of Industry and Security’s Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee. Brotherton is an accomplished export controls attorney and has assisted hundreds of U.S. and foreign corporations and academic institutions on all aspects of U.S. export control and sanctions regulations. He recently completed his first term with the RPTAC, which advises BIS on implementation of the Export Administration Regulations, and is one of a very few private practice attorneys named to the committee.
