Background

The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Transportation and Related Equipment Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting Sept. 26 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to transportation and related equipment or technology.

The public session of the upcoming meeting will include status reports by working group chairs as well as public comments and proposals. This session will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis, and requests to join the conference are due by Sept. 19. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at this session, but reservations are not accepted.
