The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Materials Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting May 11 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to materials and related technology.

The open session of the meeting will include presentations on the Export Enforcement Coordination Center, a draft proposal to advance a green technology report, and one company’s experience with export controls as well as reports by committee working groups (composite, pumps and valves, bio, public domain, chemicals). This session will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis, and requests to participate are due by May 4. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at this session.
