Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Cold-rolled steel – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on cold-rolled steel flat products from Japan for the period July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Corrosion-resistant steel – (1) dumping margins of zero to 0.75 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on corrosion-resistant steel products from Korea for the period July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019, (2) rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on CORE steel products from China for the period July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019, with respect to eight companies for which review requests were withdrawn, and (3) rescission of administrative review of CV duty order on CORE steel products from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018, and instruction to CBP to assess CV duties on entries of such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Engines – scheduling of final phase of AD/CV injury investigations of small vertical shaft engines from China, with hearing scheduled for March 9, pre-hearing briefs due by March 2, post-hearing briefs due by March 15, and final comments due by April 1

Rebar – dumping margins of 11.8 to 19.1 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey for the period July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019

Stainless steel bar – dumping margins of zero and 17.24 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on stainless steel bar from India for the period Feb. 1, 2018, through Jan. 31, 2019
