U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued the following update regarding the status of pilot tests that participating government agencies are conducting with respect to the ongoing transition to the Automated Commercial Environment.

Environmental Protection Agency (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act) | limited to nine importers (still accepting applicants); will continue until publication of final regulations allowing collection of additional data |

CBP notes that these pilots are generally not restricted to a certain group of customs brokers and self-filers and therefore encourages all brokers and self-filers that are ready to file in ACE to file entries for the currently available entry types in ACE for the following PGAs: APHIS (Lacey and core), ATF, DDTC, EPA (TSCA, ODS, on-road V&E), FDA, FSIS, NHTSA and TTB.
