U.S. Customs and Border Protection has updated the list of forms required by partner government agencies at the time of entry or entry summary filing that must be electronically submitted to the Automated Commercial Environment by Nov. 1. This list groups the forms and data requirements by associated agency and program/commodity and includes related status for pilots, working groups and technical documentation.
According to CBP, PGA data that is filed electronically today via electronic data interchange at time of entry or entry summary must be filed via the PGA message set in ACE by Nov. 1. PGA requirements at time of entry or entry summary that are currently met via the submission of paper documents will require transmission by either the PGA message set or the Document Image System. Documents requested by CBP after an entry will have to be submitted via DIS, while documents requested post-summary will be able to be submitted via either DIS or the ACE portal. Additional forms or data not required at entry or entry summary will be supported by ACE as well but will be announced separately at a later date.
CBP states that to transmit required data filers must adhere to the PGA message set chapter of the CBP and Trade Interface Requirements. Any agency-specific requirements are captured through supplemental implementation guides.
