U.S. Customs and Border Protection is reminding the trade community that the Automated Commercial Environment deployment of the electronic foreign-trade zone application (e214) and manufacturer identification creation capabilities, along with statements, is scheduled for Dec. 9. This deployment was postponed from Sept. 9 due to business concerns about managing a transition to this functionality during the active 2017 hurricane season.

The final ACE deployment is planned for Feb. 24 and will cover reconciliation, ACE core drawback and Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act drawback, liquidation, and the Automated Surety Interface.
