The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements has determined to add certain two-ply 100 percent polyester yarn, classified under HTSUS subheading 5402.33.60, to the CAFTA-DR short supply list in unrestricted quantities.

CITA determined that no interested entity has substantiated its ability to supply this yarn in commercial quantities in a timely manner. As a result, apparel made in CAFTA-DR countries with this yarn, regardless of its origin, may be imported duty-free as of Aug. 3.

If your company is interested in exploring a short supply petition please contact Nicole Bivens Collinson or Mark Tallo.
