Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Citric acid – preliminary affirmative AD determination on citric acid and citrate salts from India, with new AD cash deposit requirement at rates of 98.22 and 149.74 percent, and preliminary negative AD determination on such goods from Canada

Paprika – final affirmative AD and CVD determinations on oleoresin paprika from India, dumping margins of 4.24 to 5.78 percent, net subsidy rates of 18.67 to 25.42 percent, final affirmative critical circumstances determination in part in CVD investigation, and final negative critical circumstances determination in AD investigation

Plywood – final affirmative AD and CVD injury determinations on hardwood and decorative plywood from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam

Silicon – issuance of AD and CVD orders on silicon metal from Australia and Norway, effective Aug. 21, with dumping margins of 6.16 percent for Australia and 2.47 percent for Norway and net subsidy rates of 32.57 percent for Australia and 17.27 percent for Norway

Strawberries – preliminary affirmative AD determination on fresh winter strawberries from Mexico and new AD cash deposit requirement at rates of 3.37 to 5.28 percent
