Background

Heavy-Walled Pipe. The International Trade Administration has made preliminary affirmative countervailing duty determinations on heavy-walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Turkey. As a result, the ITA will instruct U.S. Custom and Border Protection to require CV cash deposits at the preliminary subsidy rates of 1.35 percent for Ozdemir Boru Profil San ve Tic. Ltd Sti., 7.69 percent for MMZ Onur Boru Profil uretim San Ve Tic. A.S. and 4.39 percent for all other producers/exporters.

Light-Walled Pipe. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Mexico for the period Aug. 1, 2014, through July 31, 2015, due to the timely withdrawal of the request for review. The ITA will instruct CBP to assess AD duties on all entries of subject goods during this period at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.
