Background

Steel Wheels. The International Trade Commission has made preliminary affirmative antidumping and countervailing injury determinations on steel wheels from China. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its AD/CV duty investigations of this product, with preliminary determinations due by June 23 (CV) and Sept. 6 (AD).

Steel Nails. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on steel nails from Oman for the period July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017, the ITA determined weighted average dumping margins of zero for Oman Fasteners LLC and 154.33 percent for Overseas International Steel Industry LLC/Overseas Distribution Services Inc. The ITA has also rescinded this review with respect to ten companies.

Supercalendered Paper. The ITA has initiated a changed circumstances review to consider the possible revocation of the CV duty order on supercalendered paper from Canada. The petitioner has expressed a lack of interest in the enforcement or existence of this order and requested its revocation retroactive to Aug. 3, 2015.
