Background

Steel Plate. In the final results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from Korea for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2016, the International Trade Administration has determined net subsidy rates of 0.21 percent (de minimis) for Dongkuk Steel Mill Co. Ltd. and 0.54 percent for Hyundai Steel Co. CV duties will be assessed and CV cash deposits will be required accordingly. The ITA has also rescinded this review with respect to 14 companies.

Shrimp. In the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on frozen warmwater shrimp from India for the period Feb. 1, 2016, through Jan. 31, 2017, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of zero for one exporter/producer combination and 1.35 percent for dozens of others. AD duties will be assessed and AD cash deposits will be required accordingly.

Graphite Electrodes. In the final results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on small diameter graphite electrodes from China for the period Feb. 1, 2016, through Jan. 31, 2017, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of zero for exporter Fushun Jinly Petrochemical Carbon Co. Ltd. No AD duties will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and no AD cash deposits will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after July 16.

Sodium Gluconate. The International Trade Commission has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of sodium gluconate, gluconic acid, and derivative products from China. A hearing will be held Sept. 18, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Sept. 13, pre-hearing briefs are due by Sept. 12, post-hearing briefs are due by Sept. 25, and final comments are due by Oct. 12.

Aluminum Sheet. The ITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of common alloy aluminum sheet from China. A hearing will be held Oct. 30, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Oct. 24, pre-hearing briefs are due by Oct. 23, post-hearing briefs are due by Nov. 8, and final comments are due by Nov. 30.
