Steel Cylinders. In its sunset review of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on high-pressure steel cylinders from China, the International Trade Commission has determined that revoking these orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result, these orders will remain in place.
Crawfish Meat. The International Trade Administration has initiated a new shipper review of the AD duty order on freshwater crawfish tail meat from China. This review will determine whether Anhui Luan Hongyuan Foodstuffs Co. Ltd. and Kunshan Xinrui Trading Co. Ltd. are entitled to separate AD duty rates. Under the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act, the ITA no longer instructs U.S. Customs and Border Protection to allow importers the option of posting a bond or security in lieu of cash deposits during the pendency of new shipper reviews.
Stainless Steel Bar. In its changed circumstances review of the AD duty order on stainless steel bar from India, the ITA has preliminarily determined that the Venus Group (Venus Wire Industries Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates Precision Metals, Sieves Manufacturers (India) Pvt. Ltd., and Hindustan Inox Ltd.) and Viraj Profiles Ltd. have resumed dumping this product in the U.S. market. As a result, the ITA intends to reinstate stainless steel bar produced and/or exported by these companies to this order and will instruct CBP to suspend liquidation of all entries of such goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Oct. 18.
