Pressure Pipe. The International Trade Commission has scheduled the final phase of its antidumping and countervailing injury investigations of welded stainless steel pressure pipe from India. A hearing will be held Sept. 22, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Sept. 16, pre-hearing briefs are due by Sept. 15, post-hearing briefs are due by Sept. 29, and final comments are due by Oct. 20.
Corrosion-Resistant Steel. The International Trade Administration has made final affirmative AD and CV duty determinations on corrosion-resistant steel products from China, India, Italy and Korea; a final affirmative AD duty determination on such products from Taiwan; and a negative final CV duty determination on such products from Taiwan.
Dumping margins are 209.97 percent for China, 3.05 percent to 4.44 percent for India, 12.63 percent to 92.12 percent for Italy, 8.75 percent to 47.80 percent for Korea, and 3.77 percent for Taiwan. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect AD cash deposits at these rates.
Subsidy rates are 39.05 percent to 241.07 percent for China, 8.00 percent to 29.46 percent for India, 0.07 percent to 38.51 percent for Italy, and 0.72 percent to 1.19 percent for Korea. If the ITC issues final affirmative CV injury determinations, the ITA will instruct CBP to resume the suspension of liquidation for entries of such goods and require CV cash deposits at these rates.
The ITA found critical circumstances with respect to certain exporters from China and Korea, one respondent from Italy that failed to cooperate fully in the AD investigation, and all other producers and exporters from Taiwan.
Ammonium Sulfate. The ITC has instituted AD and CV injury investigations of ammonium sulfate from China. A conference will be held June 15, requests to appear at the conference are due by June 13, written submissions are due by June 20, and the ITC’s preliminary determinations are due by July 11.
