Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Filing cabinets – final affirmative AD and CV duty determinations on vertical metal filing cabinets from China, with a dumping margin of 198.5 percent and a net subsidy rate of 271.79 percent

Plywood – net subsidy rate of 194.9 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on hardwood plywood products from China for the period April 25, 2017, through Dec. 31, 2018

Quartz surface products – preliminary affirmative CV duty determinations on quartz surface products from India and Turkey and instruction to CBP to begin collecting CV cash deposits at rates of de minimis to 4.32 percent for India and 3.81 percent for Turkey

Silicon metal – sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty order on silicon metal from Russia would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 87.08 percent

Transformers – dumping margin of 8.74 percent for one producer/exporter in amended final results of administrative review of AD duty order on large power transformers from Korea for the period Aug. 1, 2013, through July 31, 2014
