The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Alcohol – sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty order on tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time

Nails – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on steel nails from Taiwan for the period July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, with respect to 130 companies due to withdrawal of request for review and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Polyethylene – scheduling of final phase of AD injury investigation of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene from Korea, with hearing scheduled for Feb. 18, pre-hearing briefs due by Feb. 9, post-hearing briefs due by Feb. 25, and final comments due by March 18

Shelving – continuation of AD and CV duty orders on kitchen appliance shelving and racks from China, effective Oct. 15

Shrimp – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on frozen warmwater shrimp from India for the period Feb. 1, 2019, through Jan. 31, 2020, with respect to dozens of companies due to timely withdrawal of request for review and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates
