Background

Nails. Pursuant to a court decision, the International Trade Administration has amended the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on steel nails from China for the period Aug. 1, 2012, through July 31, 2013, to specify a weighted average dumping margin of 10.16 percent for Stanley Works (Langfang) Fastening Systems Co. Ltd. If the court decision is not appealed or upheld on appeal the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on unliquidated entries of subject goods at this rate. However, this change does not affect the current AD cash deposit rate for Stanley, which was established in a subsequent administrative review.

Pipe Fittings. In the final results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Italy for the period Feb. 1, 2016, through Jan. 31, 2017, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of zero for manufacturer/exporter Filmag Italia Spa. No AD duties will be assessed on entries of subject goods from this company during the period of review, and no AD cash deposits will be required for such goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after July 13.

Garment Hangers. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on steel wire garment hangers from China for the period Oct. 1, 2016, through Sept. 30, 2017, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 3.25 percent for Shanghai Wells Hanger Co. Ltd./Hong Kong Wells Ltd.

Clad Steel Plate. The International Trade Commission has scheduled a full sunset review of the AD duty order on clad steel plate from Japan, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of this order. A hearing will be held Oct. 18, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Oct. 12, pre-hearing briefs are due by Oct. 10, post-hearing briefs are due by Oct. 25, and final comments are due by Nov. 13.
