Clothes Washers. In its sunset review of the antidumping duty order on large residential washers from Mexico, the International Trade Administration has determined that revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at weighted average margins up to 72.41 percent.
Separately, the ITA has initiated changed circumstances reviews to consider revoking the AD duty orders on large residential washers from Mexico and Korea, and the CV duty order on such goods from Korea, with respect to subject goods that have a horizontal rotational axis, are front loading, and have a drive train consisting of a controlled induction motor and a belt drive. Comments are due by May 21.
Clad Steel Plate. In its sunset review of the AD duty order on clad steel plate from Japan, the ITA has determined that revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at weighted average margins up to 118.53 percent.
Foundry Coke Products. Effective May 11, the ITA has continued its AD duty order on foundry coke products from China. This order covers coke larger than 100 mm (four inches) in maximum diameter and at least 50 percent of which is retained on a 100 mm (four inch) sieve, of a kind used in foundries. Subject goods are currently classifiable under HTSUS 2704.00.0011.
Hot-Rolled Steel. The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative reports that India has requested the establishment of a World Trade Organization dispute settlement panel to determine if the U.S. has complied with a previous WTO ruling against its CV duty order on hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from India. Comments on the issues raised in this dispute are due by June 11.
