Ferrovanadium. The International Trade Administration has issued an antidumping duty order on ferrovanadium from Korea, effective May 15. As a result, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties, and to continue to require AD cash deposits, on all appropriate entries of such goods at the weighted average dumping margins, which range from 3.22 percent to 54.69 percent.

Ferrovanadium is an alloy of iron and vanadium and is classified under HTSUS 7202.92.0000. This order covers all ferrovanadium regardless of grade (i.e., percentage of contained vanadium), chemistry, form, shape, or size.

Wood Flooring. In the final results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty order on multilayered wood flooring from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2014, the ITA has determined net subsidy rates of 0.67 percent to 1.45 percent. CV duties at these rates will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and CV cash deposits at these rates will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after May 15.

The ITA is rescinding this review with respect to Changbai Mountain Development and Protection Zone Hongtu Wood Industrial Co. Ltd., Shenyang Senwang Wooden Industry Co. Ltd., and Jiangsu Yuhui International Trade Co. Ltd. because they made no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.

Staples. The International Trade Commission has made a preliminary affirmative AD injury determination on carton closing staples from China. As a result, the ITA will continue its AD duty investigation, with a preliminary determination due by Sept. 7.
