Large Civil Aircraft. Despite the fact that none of the subject goods has yet been imported into the U.S., the International Trade Administration has made final affirmative antidumping and countervailing duty determinations on 100- to 150-seat large civil aircraft from Canada. The final dumping and subsidization margins are 79.82 percent and 212.39 percent, respectively.
Steel Wire Rod. The ITA has amended its preliminary affirmative dumping determination on carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Italy to specify dumping margins of 18.89 percent for Ferriera Valsider S.p.A. and 12.58 percent for Ferriere Nord S.p.A./Acciaierie di Verona S.p.A. and all other exporters and manufacturers. AD cash deposits at these rates will be effective retroactively to Oct. 31, 2017.
Groundwood Paper. The ITA has postponed its preliminary dumping determination on uncoated groundwood paper from Canada from Jan. 16 to March 7 to allow sufficient time to collect supplemental information from the respondents to address the serious issues raised in the petitioner’s deficiency comments.
Plywood. The International Trade Commission has made affirmative final AD and CV injury determinations on hardwood plywood from China. As a result, the ITA will issue AD and CV duty orders on such goods.
Corrosion-Resistant Steel. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the AD duty order on corrosion-resistant steel products from India for the period Jan. 4, 2016, through June 30, 2017, with respect to five companies based on the petitioners’ withdrawal of their request for review of these companies. The ITA will instruct CBP to assess AD duties on all appropriate entries of subject goods from these companies at the AD cash deposit rates in effect at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.
