The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. Brightening agents – dumping margin of 11.92 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on certain stilbenic optical brightening agents from Taiwan for the period May 1, 2020, through April 30, 2021
Furniture – ITC determination that revoking the existing AD duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time (as a result, this order will remain in place for an additional five years)
Lemon juice – scheduling of final phase of AD investigations of lemon juice from Brazil and South Africa, with prehearing briefs due by Oct. 4, the prehearing conference to be held Oct. 6, the hearing to be held Oct. 11, posthearing briefs due by Oct. 18, and final comments due by Nov. 4
Nails – subsidy rates of 2.73 to 2.93 percent (India), 2.49 percent (Oman), 4.12 percent (Sri Lanka), and 1.52 to 3.88 percent (Turkey) in CV investigations of certain steel nails from India, Oman, Sri Lanka, and Turkey, and final negative determination in CV investigation of subject merchandise from Thailand
Sodium nitrite – issuance of CV duty order on sodium nitrite from Russia, with CV cash deposit rate of 386.24 percent
