Supply Chains. H.R. 4295 (introduced July 1 by Rep. Van Duyne, R-Texas) would require U.S. national intelligence agencies to conduct a study to identify supply chains critical to national security.

Trade Secrets. H.R. 4327 (introduced July 1 by Rep. Obernolte, R-Calif.) would allow an owner of a trade secret redress of the theft of trade secrets extraterritorially.

Mink. The Minks in Narrowly Kept Spaces are Superspreaders Act (H.R. 4310, introduced July 1 by Rep. DeLauro, D-Conn.) would amend the Lacey Act to prohibit the import, export, transport, sale, receipt, acquirement, or purchase in interstate or foreign commerce of mink. DeLauro explained that “mink operations can incubate and spread new COVID-19 variants and pose a unique threat of extending the pandemic.”
