- received an application to reorganize FTZ 83 to encompass a service area of Cherokee, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Marion, Morgan, and Winston counties in Alabama, within and adjacent to the Huntsville U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry (comments due by Sept. 7)

- received an application for production authority at the LUC Urethanes Inc. facility within FTZ 265 in Conroe, Texas, which is used for the production of wheels, rollers, and friction pads for industrial machinery and material conveyance (comments due by Aug. 16)

- authorized production under zone procedures at the Liebel-Flarsheim Company LLC facility within FTZ 93 in Raleigh, N.C., which is used for the production of diagnostic imaging contrast media

- authorized an expansion of production authority at the Merck & Co. Inc. facility within FTZ 185 in Elkton, Va., where Merck already had authority to produce pharmaceutical products, to add a finished product and foreign-status materials to the scope of authority

- authorized production under zone procedures at the Zoetis Services LLC facility within FTZ 59 in Lincoln, Neb., which is used for the production of pharmaceuticals for the animal pharmaceutical industry
