Kai-Wei Chan is an Associate with Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., resident in the Washington, D.C., office. He assists clients on trade remedies and other customs and trade issues.
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Chan served as an associate for corporate, investment, and international trade issues with a law firm in Taiwan, where he specialized in antidumping duty matters but also worked in the areas of corporate law, investment law, consumer protection law, and World Trade Organization regulation. Earlier in his career he researched and wrote on WTO issues for organizations in Taiwan.
Mr. Chan holds an LLM from National Taiwan University College of Law, an LLM from Columbia Law School, and a bachelor of laws degree from National Taipei University. He is the author of numerous articles on trade remedy, WTO, investment, and other topics and is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
