Toner Cartridges. The International Trade Commission has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1106 of toner cartridges and components thereof as to two patent claims withdrawn by complainants Canon Inc., Canon U.S.A. Inc., and Canon Virginia Inc. The ITC has also found one respondent in default.

Industrial Automation Systems. The ITC has terminated trademark and copyright infringement investigation 337-TA-1074 of industrial automation systems and components thereof (including control systems, controllers, visualization hardware, motion and motor control systems, networking equipment, safety devices, and power supplies) with respect to one respondent based on a consent order with complainant Rockwell Automation Inc.

Wireless Headsets. The ITC has terminated its remand proceeding in patent infringement investigation 337-TA-943 with respect to several respondents based on a settlement and license agreement with complainant One-E-Way Inc.

Lithography Machines. The ITC has instituted investigation 337-TA-1128 to determine whether imports of lithography machines and systems and components thereof are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. Complainant Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH requests that after this investigation the ITC issue a limited exclusion order, which would direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to prohibit the entry of infringing products into the U.S., and cease and desist orders, which would require the named respondents to cease actions that violate Section 337, including selling infringing imported articles out of U.S. inventory. The respondents in this investigation are located in Japan and the U.S.

Electric Motors. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1073 of thermoplastic-encapsulated electric motors, components thereof, and products and vehicles containing same with respect to four respondents at the request of complainant Intellectual Ventures II LLC.
