AD/CV: Steel Wire Rod, Steel Pipe, Upcoming Sunset Review

Steel Wire Rod. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico for the period Oct. 1, 2014, through Sept. 30, 2015, the International Trade Administration has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 17.02 percent for Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V. The ITA has also preliminarily determined that ArcelorMittal Las Truchas S.A. de C.V. had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.

Steel Pipe. In the final results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on large diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard, line, and pressure pipe (over 4.5”) from Japan for the period June 1, 2014, through May 31, 2015, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 107.80 percent for four producers and/or exporters. AD duties at this rate will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at this rate will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Nov. 16. The ITA also determined that NKK Tubes had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.

In the final results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on small diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard, line, and pressure pipe (under 4.5”) from Japan for the period June 1, 2014, through May 31, 2015, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 106.07 percent for four producers and/or exporters. AD duties at this rate will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at this rate will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Nov. 16. The ITA also determined that NKK Tubes had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.

Upcoming Sunset Reviews. The ITA has scheduled administrative reviews of the following AD and/or CV duty orders for initiation in December. These reviews will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders.

- cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from India, Indonesia, and Korea (AD/CV)

- stainless steel wire rod from India (AD)
