AD/CV: Steel Sinks, Steel Racks, Quartz Surface Products, Plastic Ribbon

Steel Sinks. The International Trade Administration has continued the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on drawn stainless steel sinks from China, effective Aug. 28.

These orders cover drawn stainless steel sinks with single or multiple drawn bowls, with or without drain boards, whether finished or unfinished, regardless of type of finish, gauge, or grade of stainless steel, and whether or not sold in conjunction with non-subject accessories such as faucets, strainers, strainer sets, rinsing baskets, or bottom grids. Mounting clips, fasteners, seals, and sound-deadening pads are also covered if they are included in the sales price of the sinks. Covered goods are currently classified under HTSUS 7324.10.0000 and 7324.10.0010.

Stainless steel sinks with fabricated bowls are excluded from the scope of the orders.

Steel Racks. The ITA has postponed from Sept. 13 to Nov. 19 its preliminary CV duty determination on steel racks from China.

Quartz Surface Products. The ITA has postponed from Sept. 24 to Nov. 13 its preliminary AD duty determination on quartz surface products from China.

Plastic Decorative Ribbon. The International Trade Commission has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of plastic decorative ribbon from China. A hearing will be held Dec. 13, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Dec. 10, pre-hearing briefs are due by Dec. 6, post-hearing briefs are due by Dec. 26, and final comments are due by Jan. 17.
