AD/CV: Steel Products, Uncoated Paper

Steel Wire Rod. In the preliminary results of its changed circumstances review of the antidumping duty orders on carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Korea and the United Kingdom, the International Trade Administration has announced its intention to revoke these orders with respect to grade 1078 and higher tire cord wire rod at the request of producers accounting for substantially all production of the domestic like product. Comments are due no later than Dec. 21.

Corrosion-Resistant Steel. The ITA has amended its CV duty order on corrosion-resistant steel products from India to specify a CV cash deposit rate of 4.24 percent for JSW Steel Limited and JSW Steel Coated Products Limited. CBP will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect CV cash deposits at this rate on entries of subject goods from these companies.

Uncoated Paper. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on uncoated paper from Indonesia for the period March 1, 2017, through Feb. 28, 2018, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 66.81 percent for one exporter/producer.

Groundwood Paper. Canada has requested a NAFTA panel review of the International Trade Commission’s final negative AD and CV injury determinations on uncoated groundwood paper from Canada.
