AD/CV: Steel Fittings, Woven Sacks, Polyester Fiber

Forged Steel Fittings. The International Trade Administration has made an affirmative preliminary countervailing duty determination on forged steel fittings from China. As a result, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to require CV cash deposits at the preliminary net subsidy rate of 13.79 percent. The ITA’s final determination is due by July 24.

Laminated Woven Sacks. The International Trade Commission has instituted AD and CV injury investigations of laminated woven sacks from Vietnam. A conference will be held March 28, requests to appear at the conference are due by March 26, and written briefs are due by April 2.

Polyester Fiber. The ITC has made affirmative final CV injury determinations on fine denier polyester staple fiber from China and India. As a result, the ITA will issue CV duty orders on these products.
