AD/CV News: Solar Cells, Steel Plate, Structural Steel, Tool Chests, Violet Pigment

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Solar cells – (a) dumping margins of 46.64 to 75.23 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from China for the period Dec. 1, 2017, through Nov. 30, 2018, and (b) net subsidy rate of 19.15 percent for one company in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on such goods for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2017

Steel plate – dumping margin of 6.73 percent for one company in amended final affirmative dumping determination on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Taiwan

Structural steel – termination of CV injury investigation of fabricated structural steel from Canada following negative final CV duty determination

Tool chests – net subsidy rates of 1.27 percent for 2017 and 1.15 percent for 2018 for one company in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on tool chests and cabinets from China

Violet pigment – net subsidy rate of 3.13 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on carbazole violet pigment 23 from India for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2017
