The Export-Import Bank of the United States has received an application for final commitment for a long-term direct loan that would enable an Israel-based company to finance the procurement of U.S.-manufactured solar arrays as well as U.S. launch services and launch insurance in support of a manufactured satellite. This satellite is expected to provide additional capacity to broadcasting and telecommunications companies in the company’s existing customer base in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Comments on this application are due no later than Aug. 9.
