Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Shrimp. The International Trade Administration has rescinded its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on frozen warmwater shrimp from China for the period Feb. 1, 2014, through Jan. 31, 2015, following the withdrawal of the requests for review. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on all appropriate entries of subject goods at the AD cash deposit rates in effect at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.

Pasta. In its changed circumstances review of the AD duty order on pasta from Italy, the ITA has preliminarily determined that La Molisana S.p.A. is not the successor-in-interest to La Molisana Industrie Alimentari S.p.A. and should therefore not be given the same AD treatment. If this determination is finalized, the AD cash deposit rate for La Molisana will continue to be 15.45 percent, the all-others rate, and will remain in effect until a company-specific rate is calculated.
