IPR Enforcement: Sequencing Systems, Electronic Devices, Graphic Systems

Sequencing Systems. In investigation 337-TA-1032 of single-molecule nucleic acid sequencing systems and reagents, consumables, and software for use with same, the International Trade Commission has determined to review an initial determination that the patents asserted by complainant Pacific Biosciences of California Inc. are not being infringed. The ITC is accepting comments on specific issues from the parties to this investigation through Sept. 15.

Electronic Devices. The ITC has terminated without the imposition of import restrictions patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1038 of electronic devices, including mobile phones, tablet computers, and components thereof. This step follows a settlement agreement between complainant Nokia Technologies Oy and the respondent, which is located in the U.S.

Graphic Systems. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1044 of graphic systems, components thereof, and consumer products containing the same with respect to three patent claims asserted by complainant Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
