Semiconductor Devices. The International Trade Commission has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1080 of wafer-level packaging semiconductor devices and products containing same (including cellular phones, tablets, laptops, and notebooks) and components thereof in its entirety without the imposition of import restrictions. This termination is based on an agreement to arbitrate between complainant Tessera Advanced Technologies Inc. and the respondents, which are located in Korea and the U.S.

Storage Drives. In patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1097 of solid state storage drives, stacked electronics components, and products containing same, the ITC has (a) modified an initial determination that complainant BiTMICRO LLC has satisfied the economic prong of the domestic industry requirement as to all but one of the asserted patents and (b) terminated this investigation with a finding of no violation with respect to that one patent.

Toner Cartridges. In patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1106 of toner cartridges and components thereof, the ITC has found 12 respondents in default because they failed to timely respond to the complaint and notice of investigation.
